After the departure of the train, addressing the people, PM Modi expressed grief over the Indore accident. Then he described the Vande Bharat Express as a symbol of India moving towards self-reliance from the mentality of slavery. He said the journey between Bhopal and Delhi will be faster and the train will bring new facilities for professionals, youth and businessmen. India is now working with a new thinking and a new approach. For the last nine years, the government’s constant endeavor is to make Indian Railways the best network in the world.
Electrification to the tune of 100 percent in many parts of the country is an example of how modernisation is taking place in the railways today.
There was a lot of enthusiasm among the children about the ride of Vande Bharat and the meeting with PM Modi. Many children were seen taking selfies inside the train. Along with the children, their teachers were also sitting in the train.
