NEW DELHI: The Union Government led by PM Narendra Modi will soon launch a novel campaign to take stock of the implementation of its welfare schemes and ensure full implementation in six months, according to reports.
The Government will also launch a Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra across all 2.7 lakh panchayats to see to the implementation, the reports added. Senior officials are expected to oversee the process so that the benefits of the scheme reach people in all parts of the country.
PM Modi has reportedly repeatedly emphasised to his cabinet colleagues and government officials that all deserving beneficiaries who have still not been reached should be ensured benefits within the deadline.
He urged that while ensuring the implementation of the welfare schemes, care should be taken that there is no discrimination and that the initiatives should reach every deserving citizen.
The drive for the full implementation of welfare scheme include schemes like the Vishwakarma Yojana, PM KISAN, Fasal Bima Yojana, Poshan Abhiyan, Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Grameen), National Rural Livelihood Mission, Janaushadhi Yojana, and the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, among others, said reports.
