NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) Secretary, S Krishnan, inaugurated a cutting-edge incubation facility at the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) in Gurugram on October 20. This state-of-the-art facility is part of the Apiary Centre of Entrepreneurship (CoE), a dedicated initiative of STPI with a focus on Blockchain Technology. During the inauguration event, Krishnan, toured the Apiary incubation facility and interacted with the young entrepreneurs who are at the forefront of innovation in the Blockchain Technology sector.
He lauded their dedication and ability to tackle real-world issues using cutting-edge technology. Furthermore, Krishnan commended the boundary-defying approach of the entrepreneurs, highlighting their impact on a global scale.
The incubation facility is spread across 7,000 square feet and is fully equipped to support technological start-ups. It boasts 80 plug-and-play seats, along with modern conference rooms and an auditorium. Over the course of five years, Apiary CoE aims to incubate a total of 100 start-ups, offering them a conducive environment to grow and thrive. Apiary CoE is a one of a kind collaboration involving MeitY, STPI, the Government of Haryana, Padup Ventures, IBM, Intel, GBA, and FITT.
