The English edition of Blitz India was launched on February 5, 2022 in New Delhi by Amitabh Kant, the then-CEO of Niti Aayog and the present G20 Sherpa of India. A few months later, the Hindi edition of the newspaper also made its appearance. In September 2022, Blitz India was launched at a gala event in Mumbai.
Ever since its launch, Blitz India has become a must-read for policymakers, thinkers, academics and the intelligentsia. Development journalism, which the weekly newspaper has pioneered, has been warmly welcomed by the readers, encouraging us to plan editions from all major cities in India and few international editions in the near future starting with UK .
