SRINAGAR: Well before the G20 Tourism Working Group meeting took place in Srinagar, the venue had created a sensation of sorts and excitement on social media.
Arab influencer Amjad Taha posted a video on May 20 on his handle which captured global attention for the captivating beauty of Kashmir’s breathtaking landscapes. Taha described the place as a suitable host for world leaders.
His post, which showcased the coexistence of various religious and ethnic communities in Kashmir, was well-received for celebrating the region’s unity and diversity.
“This is not Switzerland or Austria; this is India, and this is Kashmir where the G20 meeting will take place. It’s called the ‘Paradise on Earth,’ a place that has preserved the Earth and can be the solution for climate change. In Kashmir, we see Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, and Christians all living in peace and enjoying their diverse land while contributing to world innovation and development for the future,” Taha tweeted.
Punjabi pop singer YoYo Honey Singh also posted a video message on Twitter, expressing his excitement for the recently-concluded summit. He talked of his fond childhood memories of visiting Kashmir and encouraged his fans to support the G20 Summit in India. Singh also expressed a desire to revisit the region in future.
