NEW DELHI: The Delhi Medical Council (DMC) has declared the list of recognised institutes where foreign medical graduates (FMGs) can apply for internship.
The total number of seats in this regard has been increased from 42 to 587 in the national capital, media reports said on May 19.
According to the data shared by DMC regarding the list of recognised institutes for internship, altogether 432 internship seats are available at five Government Hospitals.
Among these the majority of the seats 150 seats are available at Hindu Rao Hospital (150), followed by DDU Hospital (142), ESI Hospital (70), Northern Railway Hospital (40) and RML Hospital (30).
In case of private hospitals, altogether 155 seats are available for the FMGs to get enrolled in the Internship Programme.
Among these, 20 seats are available at Batra Hospital, 25 seats at BLK Kapoor Hospital, 40 seats at Holy Family Hospital, 20 seats at Jaipur Golden, 30 seats at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and 20 seats at St. Stephen Hospital.
