MUMBAI: Job-seekers in Maharashtra will have quality resumes made easy soon, thanks to a novel idea from the state Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Ministry, which has partnered with a software development firm to create such documents using artificial intelligence.
This initiative, according to an official statement in November, is the brainchild of Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Mangal Prabhat Lodha.
For any aspirant, the first step towards any job is the resume, where the ministry will use artificial intelligence to design and compile such curriculum vitae, reports said.
The job aspirants will have easy and quick access to high quality resumes where they will just need to send a “Hi” as message to the WhatsApp number 8655826684.
The sender will then need to answer some relevant questions, and their resume will be done and sent to them within a few minutes, the Government release explained.
The state Government is also planning to organise job fairs as part of this initiative to further assist such aspirants. The entire exercise is aimed to help candidates with enough resources in their search for a secure employment.
“Though job-seekers get good employment opportunities, many times they face failure in the beginning in the absence of a quality resume. In order to address this problem, the minister (Lodha) has decided to provide digital resumes to the youth with the help of artificial intelligence,” read the statement from the Government. The minister has come up with this unique idea to make available quality resumes for the youth of Maharashtra through Artificial Intelligence, the statement added.
