ABU DHABI: UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has congratulated US President-elect Donald Trump. In a statement posted on X, Sheikh Mohamed extended his congratulations to Trump and his running-mate JD Vance.
He highlighted long-standing strategic cooperation between UAE and US, emphasising shared commitment to progress.
“In building upon over five decades of strategic bilateral cooperation, the UAE and US are united by our enduring partnership based on shared ambitions for progress. The UAE looks forward to continuing to work with our partners in the US towards a future of opportunity, prosperity, and stability for all,” he said.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, V-P, PM and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, V-P, Deputy PM and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also sent congratulatory messages.
