(Oh Goddess Saraswati, adorned with a garland of frosty white jasmine flowers and clad in pure white attire. You, whose hands are adorned with the Veena and seated gracefully on a white lotus.) AS we step into 2024, Blitz India isn’t just turning a page on the calendar; it’s celebrating a milestone. Today, as we unveil our 100th edition, our newsroom is abuzz with more than the usual fervour, reflecting on a journey that’s both inspiring and transformative.
Launched on February 5, 2022, Blitz India emerged as a beacon of constructive journalism. Steering clear of negativity, we’ve consistently illuminated stories of development, progress, and hope. Our approach, focusing on life-enhancing ideas, policies, and programmes, has resonated deeply, making us a preferred read for policymakers, thinkers, and academics.
As I walk through the newsroom, I’m reminded of the early days – the challenges, the relentless pursuit of stories that matter, and the unwavering commitment of our team. “It’s not just about reporting news; it’s about inspiring change,” remarks a senior editor, capturing the essence of our mission.
Our readers too have been integral to this journey. Their stories of how Blitz India’s positive journalism has impacted their lives fuel our drive to do more. Today, we are not just a newspaper but a movement, one that’s expanding with the launch of our Maharashtra and UK (online) editions. The upcoming Kerala edition and an online edition for the Middle East are set to broaden our horizons further.
And now, we step into the digital age with the launch of our YouTube channel. It’s more than a platform; it’s a new way for us to engage, inform, and inspire a global audience.
As we celebrate these milestones, our pledge is renewed – to continue being a catalyst for positive change and to contribute meaningfully to the development of our great country. Here’s to a Happy New Year and to the many stories we’ll share in the times to come!
