24 August 2024, New Delhi: Rotaract District 3011 witnessed a historic moment as it celebrated the installation ceremony, “Navyug – नए यगु की शरुुआत,” marking the appointment of District Rotaract Representative Rtn. Rtr. Geetika. The event, held at the prestigious PHD Chamber of Commerce, Hauz Khas, attracted an impressive gathering of over 300 Rotaractors and Rotarians, setting a new benchmark for district installations.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of District Governor Rtn. Mahesh Trikha and First Lady Sujata Trikha, who graced the occasion as chief guests. District Secretary Rtn. Sanjeev Jawahar, District Governor Nominee Rtn. Ajeet Jalan, and distinguished Past District Governors Rtn. Ravi Chaudhary, Rtn. Sanjiv Rai Mehra, and Rtn. Anup Mittal were also in attendance, further emphasizing the significance of the event.

Geetika unveiled the district theme for the year: “Spark the Magic,” accompanied by the tagline “Dil Deke Dekho.” This magical theme set the tone for the year ahead, with the district being creatively divided into four zones, each named after the iconic houses of Hogwarts: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw.
The ceremony also saw the formal pinning of the District Administrative Council and the “Magical Presidents,” each of whom received a symbolic “Magical Year Passport” to embark on their journey through the enchanted year ahead.
