G20 podium

The G20, or Group of Twenty, is an international forum consisting of 19 countries and the European Union. The member countries are Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The G20 was formed in 1999 as a meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors from the world's 20 largest economies, and it has since evolved to include other ministers and officials. The group meets annually to discuss global economic issues and coordinate policy responses to promote sustainable and inclusive economic growth. The G20's decisions can have a significant impact on the global economy, as its members represent around 80% of the world's GDP and two-thirds of its population. The group has tackled a range of issues in recent years, including trade, taxation, climate change, and financial regulation, among others.
