THE historic city of Ayodhya is poised for a momentous occasion as the grand inauguration of the Ram Mandir is scheduled to commence on January 16, culminating in the much-anticipated consecration of Ram Lalla on January 22.
The landmark event marks a pinnacle in the long-awaited project, attracting a gathering of approximately 4,000 distinguished guests, including politicians, Bollywood celebrities, sports icons, and business magnates.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, slated as the Chief Guest, will lead a host of political luminaries such as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, and BJP veteran LK Advani.
The star-studded list extends to Bollywood megastars Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Akshay Kumar, and Rajnikant, amongst others. Sports legends Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar, alongside industrialists like Mukesh Ambani and Ratan Tata, are also set to grace the occasion.
The temple, a symbol of India’s rich cultural heritage, has seen construction in full swing, with the garbhagriha (sanctum sanctorum) showcasing remarkable architecture. Ayodhya is being adorned in anticipation, echoing the nation’s excitement for this monumental event.
