PRESIDENT Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Chinese Premier Li Qiang on September 13 discussed various aspects of cooperation and joint efforts to enhance and expand the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries. Reports WAM.
During the talks at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, Premier Li conveyed to His Highness the greetings of Chinese President Xi Jinping, along with his best wishes for the UAE’s continued progress and the further strengthening of the bilateral relationship between the two nations.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed welcomed the visit of Premier Li and his accompanying delegation, conveying his heartfelt greetings to Chinese President and extending his congratulations on the upcoming anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, celebrated on October 1. His Highness expressed his confidence that this visit would advance the strategic partnership between the two countries, in line with their shared commitment to advancing collaboration across all sectors.
Earlier, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice- President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, received Premier Li and his accompanying delegation and expressed the hope that the visit would further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two nations. An official reception ceremony for the visiting delegation was held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, during which the national anthem of the People’s Republic of China was played.
The official reception ceremony was attended by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice- President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; as well as a number of ministers and senior officials.
