Team Blitz India
PARIS: In a move to foster academic and cultural exchange, France has unveiled its initiative, ‘Classes Internationales’ (International Classes), an exclusive programme for Indian students to immerse themselves in French language.
The initiative aims to empower India’s high school graduates to explore the rich tapestry of educational offerings in France.
The Classes Internationales programme will serve as a gateway for the Indian students, irrespective of their proficiency in French, to gain admission to undergraduate programmes in higher education institutions in France. A foundational year dedicated to language training at the respective institution will become the stepping stone, allowing the students to seamlessly transition into curricula taught in French.
This collaborative endeavour was outlined in the joint statement endorsed by President Macron and Prime Minister Narendra Modi after their meeting on in New Delhi on January 26.
These classes will provide Indian students with a comprehensive education in French language, methodology, and academic content within distinguished French universities, setting the stage for their subsequent academic pursuits.
