LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is planning to send a group of ministers on foreign tours to showcase the state as an ‘investment hub’, ahead of the proposed Global Investor Summit in 2023.
As the brand ambassador of Uttar Pradesh, the group will organise roadshows in different countries and introduce them to the immense potential of the state. The Government has been doing its best to create an investment-friendly environment in the state.
The group of ministers will also inform the people from UP living abroad about the transformation the state has gone through, along with its future plans. A senior state Government official told Blitz India that there are chances that the CM himself might visit one of the countries to rope in investors. As per the current plan, a Cabinet Minister’s team will have two Ministers of State with Independent Charge and a Minister of State.
Singapore is proposed to be the first country-partner for the Global Investor Summit. Netherlands, Japan, Slovakia, Finland, Czech Republic, Mauritius, Thailand, Nepal and Belgium were the state’s country-partners in the Investor Summit of 2018.
Along with these countries, the UP Government will be organising roadshows in countries such as the UK, the USA, Canada, the UAE, Sweden, Singapore, Netherlands, Israel, France, Germany, South Korea, Mauritius, Russia and Australia.
