NEW DELHI: VinFast-Haritash Mobility’s ‘Green Efficiency Rally’ turned a November Sunday morning into a moving canvas of colour, camaraderie, and quiet electric power. From the moment the first gleaming VinFast SUV rolled out of the café-style car showroom on Sohna Road, Gurugram, the city’s usual soundtrack of honks and revving engines gave way to a softer, greener hum of mobility.
The 60-km rally, which stitched together urban skylines, wide expressways, and bustling neighbourhoods into a single story, relayed a powerful message: driving can be thrilling without costing the planet.
Curious glances The day began at VinFast–Haritash Mobility – A Car Café, where the dealership’s glass façade reflected rows of polished electric SUVs lined up like runners at a marathon start. When the flag dropped, the convoy glided out in near silence onto Sohna Road, their daytime running lights forming a quiet parade of white and silver.
As the rally wound its way through its Gurugram-Delhi-Gurugram route, the sight of a disciplined line of EVs weaving through Sunday traffic drew curious glances from pedestrians and fellow motorists. There were open windows, conversations inside cars, and young children craning their necks to see the bright, shimmering vehicles.
The convoy’s final destination was The Irish House café at AIPL Joy Central Mall on Golf Course Extension Road, where a bright green finish arch and cheering crew welcomed the returning SUVs. “The idea is to show that every drive can make a difference,” said Sachin JKS HaritasH, Director, Haritash Mobility and Hospitality, on the sidelines of the event. He described the rally as a celebration of customers who have chosen an electric, low-emission lifestyle, and as a reminder that sustainability is a smarter way to enjoy driving.
Relaxed celebration Inside the café, the mood shifted from focused driving to relaxed celebration. Big screens played snippets of the morning rally and live social media posts, while emcees led quizzes on green mobility.
When it was time for felicitation, the loudest applause was reserved not for the fastest, but for the most efficient drivers. The three rallyists – Parth Madan, Sidharth Gupta and Mukesh Haritash – who completed the route with the least battery consumption were showered with trophies and gift hampers.
The organisers also honoured the youngest rallyist, a six-month-old girl cradled in her parent’s arms, and the senior-most participant, a 52-year-old enthusiast, underlining that shift to sustainable mobility spans generations. For venue partner AIPL, hosting the finish line at Joy Central Mall was about more than parking space. “We want our spaces to be platforms for engaging, eco-conscious experiences,” said Director Ishaan Singh. Founded by dynamic entrepreneur Sachin JKS HaritasH, Haritash Group is an emerging luxury-focused conglomerate with interests spanning premium retail, next-generation mobility, hospitality, and financial services.
