NEW DELHI: Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Chief, Vikram Dev Dutt, announced a robust framewor to promote gender equality and foster inclusivity in the aviation sector.
Addressing the ‘Women in AviationAwards’ ceremony, Dutt said, “We initiated brainstorming sessions to understand the perspectives and challenges faced by our women officers. This introspection has led to ongoing thought processes, with plans to unveil a comprehensive framework early next year that transcends mere paperwork and official circulars.”
Underscoring DGCA’s larger role in influencing positive change within the private sector, Dutt welcomed collaboration and suggestions from the aviation community.
“Breaking new ground requires taking the right steps, and we are open to navigating uncharted territory with collective input,” he concluded.
