NEW DELHI: A team led by professor Yasuro Furuichi from Tokyo University has discovered that that Musashi-2 (Msi2), a protein originally discovered in nerve cells, controls the skeletal muscle composition. Musashi-2 are sensitive to disease and training, and future treatments will benefit from understanding how they are regulated.
