NEW DELHI: The United States (US) Congress has cleared the Joe Biden administration’s decision to pursue the GE jet engine deal with India, paving the way for the implementation of the company’s agreement with the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). This includes unprecedented technology transfer, manufacturing of jet engines in India and licensing arrangements.
