On February 5 2022, when India’s G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant presided over the birth of India’s first weekly newspaper devoted to development journalism, even he would not have expected it to become the phenomenon that it has become, in a span of one year. Blitz India’s anniversary celebrations in New Delhi, where Kant was the Guest of Honour, had all the glitz and the glamour of a mega show. There was both style and substance in the well-curated programme as one after the other luminaries from the podium lauded the bold efforts of Chairman and Editor-inChief Deepak Dwivedi in setting a new benchmark in positivity and inspiring coverage of news developments.
