NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on July 23 ordered that there will be no retest of NEET-UG. The Apex court said that it had realised that directing a fresh NEET-UG for the present year would be replete with serious consequences which will be for over 24 lakh students who appeared in this exam.
Earlier, the court received the IIT Delhi Report. The director Prof Banerjee constituted a committee from the department of Physics, they say a team of three experts examined the question. They say option 4 is the correct answer.
The bench of bench of CJI DY Chandrachud and Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra said the committee has opined clearly that there was only 1 option which is option 4. So NTA was correct in its answer key which was option 4 Earlier on July 20, the NTA released marks centre wise, without revealing the identity of students as per the order of the top court on July 18.
