Rotary International District 3011, under the inspiring leadership of District Governor Rtn. Mahesh Trikha, proudly launches “Gulabi Pankh”, a transformative movement dedicated to raising breast cancer awareness among rural women. This initiative aims to equip them with life-saving knowledge, early detection strategies, and preventive care, ensuring that no woman is left behind in the fight against breast cancer.
In collaboration with Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, the event will take place on February 20, 2025, from 1 PM to 4 PM at the hospital premises. The campaign calls upon individuals, corporate leaders, and organizations to come forward and sponsor rural women, enabling them to access critical breast cancer screenings and education.
The event will be graced by Guest of Honour Rtn. Preeti Gugnani, Past Association President of Inner Wheel India, whose presence underscores the importance of collective action in tackling women’s health challenges.
“Breast cancer is preventable and treatable if detected early. Through Gulabi Pankh, we aim to bridge the awareness gap in rural areas and empower women with knowledge that can save lives,”said District Governor Rtn. Mahesh Trikha.
With breast cancer emerging as one of the leading causes of death among women in India, initiatives like Gulabi Pankh serve as a beacon of hope. This campaign is a call to action for sponsors, medical professionals, and community leaders to unite in making a lasting impact.
Join us in spreading awareness and ensuring a healthier future for rural women. Your support can save lives!
