NEW DELHI: The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2025 which was held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) was a huge success, drawing over 205,000 participants from 172 countries.

Organized by ADNOC, the fourday event which ran until November 6, wasthe world’s largest energy gathering, focusing on strategies for resilience, intelligence, and decarbonization across the value chain.

The conference featured 2,250 exhibitors, including 54 national and international oil companies, alongside 30 country pavilions. Speakers addressedthe gathering on the themes such as AI integration in energy, sustainable investments, and innovation across 12 conference programmes.

India established a strong presence, reflecting its growing role in the global energy transition. The India Pavilion, organised across multiple sections by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI), the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), brought together over 150 companies showcasing advancements in renewables, digital solutions, and low-carbon technologies. Leading participants included Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Engineers India Limited (EIL), Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL).

The pavilions were inaugurated by Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of India to the UAE, who highlighted the deepening energy partnership between the two nations. He said the presence of over 150 Indian companies, offering a diverse range of products, is testament of the growing strength of the Indian manufacturing and service sector. Mittal also noted enthusiasm among participants for the India Energy Week to be held in January 2026 in Goa, calling it symbolic of the growing synergy between ADIPEC and India Energy Week.
