THE UAE announced on Feburary 22 a multiple-entry visa for yacht crew members, at the Dubai International Boat Show. The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) said that new multiple-entry visa will be for six months.

The Dubai International Boat show 2025, which kicked off on February 19 will last until February 23. Now in its 31st edition, the annual event has rapidly transformed from a modest gathering focused on the local maritime industry to one of the Middle East’s most prestigious and highly anticipated boat shows on the global stage. During the Boat Show, GDRFA is showcasing a range of specialised services designed to support the yachting sector and the maritime community, at its booth at MLL60 in Dubai Harbour. These include the Mobile Marina, Multiple-Entry Visas for Yacht Crew, the Work Bundle, and Platform 04, a digital initiative aimed at delivering a seamless experience by engaging customers, gathering their feedback, and incorporating their insights into the continuous development of Dubai’s government services.

Additionally, the Dubai Residency Community Network is being highlighted, offering flexible solutions for investors, yacht owners, and entrepreneurs, ultimately enhancing their residency and mobility experience within the emirate.

Visitors attending the show will see world-class superyachts, exclusive product launches, and have the chance to connect directly with industry experts shaping the future of maritime innovation. In December, another initiative was launched in Abu Dhabi to offer Golden Visa to superyatch owners. Designed to attract high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) to Abu Dhabi, this program unlocks exclusive benefits, including luxury lifestyle experiences, business opportunities, and long-term residency for your family. The UAE Golden Visa scheme, unlike others, grants multiple benefits like allowing one to be outside the country for more than six months and a decade-long renewal period.
