Sandeepp SaxenaNovember 2024: Padma Shri Dr. Mukesh Batra, a visionary in the field of homeopathy, has been honored with the prestigious Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) Honoris Causa by the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) University. Padma Shri Dr. Mukesh Batra received recognition for his exceptional contributions to society and noteworthy medical accomplishments. Under his leadership, homeopathy has gained global recognition, benefiting millions worldwide.

Speaking at the convocation, Padma Sri Dr. Mukesh Batra expressed his gratitude, “I am deeply humbled and honored to receive the D.Litt. (Honoris Causa) from Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences. This recognition is a testament to the transformative power of education and the shared mission of uplifting lives. Empowering 60,000 tribal girls with free education opens doors to a brighter future. Educating them strengthens families and transforms entire communities. Other dignitaries who received the award were Rt. Hon. Mr. Alan Gemmell, Member of Parliament of the United Kingdom, London, Dr. Jeffrey B. Liebman, Ph.D Robert W. Scrivner Professor of Public Policy, Harvard Kennedy School, U.S.A, Padma Shri Savji Dhanji Dholakia, Founder and Chairman, Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd and Shri Pradipta Kumar Mohanty, Chairman, M/s SN Mohanty Group.

The award was presented during the University’s 4th Annual Convocation, held at university campus in Bhubaneswar. KISS Deemed to be University is known for encouraging excellence and awards the Honoris Causa degree to outstanding individuals worldwide who have made significant contributions to society in various fields.
