NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said the determination of the country’s Gen-Z is the greatest strength of Viksit Bharat.
Addressing the 128th episode of his monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on November 30, PM Modi said, “If there is determination in the heart, faith in the collective strength to work as a team, if there is the courage to fall and then rise again, then success is guaranteed even in the difficult times.” He said that the recent developments, like the inauguration of the world’s largest leap engine MRO facility in Hyderabad, the induction of INS Mahé into the Indian Navy, unveiling of Skyroot’s Infinity Campus in the country, reflect India’s new thinking, innovation and youth power.
PM Modi said achieving a major milestone in the agricultural sector, India has set a historic record with food grain production of 357 million tonnes.
The Prime Minister said that India has also accomplished glory in the world of sports as it was declared as the host of the Commonwealth Games just a few days ago. He said these achievements belong to the country and the citizens.
During the address, PM Modi mentioned several important events related to the Mahabharata, World War II, his visit to Kurukshetra, the International Gita Festival, and India’s tradition of compassion. He explained how India has always offered the world a message of peace, compassion, and humanity.
Calling his presence at the International Gita Mahotsav at Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra “very special”, the Prime Minister said he was moved by how people across continents were drawing inspiration from the Bhagavad Gita.
