PRIME Minister Narendra Modi on August 6 dedicated the newly constructed Kartavya Bhavan (03)to the nation, describing it as a symbol of India’s unwavering resolve and commitment to public service.
He said the Kartavya Bhavan will not only facilitate faster delivery of government policies and schemes but will also give new momentum to the country’s development. He expressed pride in dedicating the building, which stands on Kartavya Path, to the service of the nation.
The Prime Minister took to social media platform X to share his thoughts in Hindi. In a series of posts, the PM said: “Kartavya Bhavan, located on Kartavya Path, stands as a symbol of our unyielding commitment and continuous efforts towards public service. This ultra-modern infrastructure will not only help deliver our policies and schemes more effectively but will also accelerate the country’s growth.” “Kartavya Bhavan represents our dedication to building a developed and self-reliant India.
The nation today witnessed the determination and hard work of our Shramyogis who built it. It was a pleasure to interact with them.” “Every aspect of Kartavya Bhavan’s construction kept environmental protection in mind—an area our nation remains firmly committed to. I was also fortunate to plant a sapling here today.” The event marks yet another milestone in the government’s push towards modern, citizen-centric infrastructure that aligns with India’s sustainable development goals. Kartavya Bhavan–03 spans an area of approximately 1.5 lakh square meters, including two basement levels and seven floors (Ground + 6 levels).
It will house several key government offices, including those of the Ministries of Home Affairs, External Affairs, Rural Development, MSME, DoPT, Petroleum and Natural Gas, and the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA).
