NEW DELHI: The Union Culture Ministry has decided to release a 12-part comic book series based on the themes and people featured in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat programme.
The special project is being implemented by Amar Chitra Katha, which will release the series in English, followed by translations in 12 Indian languages.
The Ministry took this decision to mark the 100th episode of the Mann Ki Baat programme which will be broadcast on April 30.
In addition to the comic book series, the Culture Ministry will also hold projection mapping shows at 13 iconic ASI monuments, including Delhi’s Red Fort and the PM’s Museum.
Briefing media persons in New Delhi on April 28, Secretary, of the Ministry of Culture, Govind Mohan said that these initiatives will celebrate the unique platform of Mann ki Baat and the achievers who have figured in it.
He emphasized that these initiatives are an endeavour to communicate and connect with people through popular mediums.
These initiatives will reiterate the message and suggestions of the Prime Minister to inspire people and capture their popular imagination towards nation-building, he added.
