NEW DELHI: Argentine Defence Minister Jorge Enrique Taiana arrived on July 17 for a four-day visit. He held talks with his Indian counterpart Rajnath Singh to further consolidate defence cooperation between the two countries.
In a statement, the Defence Ministry said, “Defence Minister of the Argentine Republic Jorge Enrique Taiana arrived in New Delhi on July 17 on a four-day visit to India. During his stay, Jorge Taiana will hold bilateral talks with Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh to further consolidate defence cooperation between the two countries.”
The Defence Ministry further stated that Taiana will also lay a wreath at the National War Memorial and pay homage to the fallen heroes.
