Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni shared a selfie video with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, captioned ‘Hello from the Melodi team,’ showcasing their camaraderie during Modi’s visit to Apulia, southern Italy.
The leaders met on June 14, marking PM Modi’s first foreign visit since beginning his historic third term. Meloni posted the five-second video on her social media platform X on June 15, where PM Modi could be seen laughing in the background. In response, he re-shared the video, expressing: “Long live India-Italy friendship!”
During their bilateral talks, PM Modi described his meeting with Meloni as productive, focusing on enhancing India-Italy relations in commerce, energy, defence, telecom, biofuels, food processing, and critical minerals
