PRIME Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and addressed the three-day (December 9-11) Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit in Jaipur, aimed at attracting investment and promoting the growth of the state.
The summit, which attracted global investors, industry leaders, and policymakers, served as a platform to showcase the state’s achievements in development, innovation, and industrial growth. In his address, PM Modi outlined India’s remarkable economic progress, attributing the nation’s rise to the guiding principles of “Reform, Perform, and Transform”. He said this approach had helped India become the world’s fifth-largest economy, doubling its economy and exports over the last decade.
“Today, the world looks at India’s development in all sectors. We have become the fifth-largest economy, and our economy and exports have doubled. Every investor in the world is now excited about India. The development we have seen is a direct result of the Reform, Perform, and Transform mantra,” the PM said.
He highlighted how this success is reflected in India’s growth in key areas, including digital data, democracy, delivery, and demography. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma attributed the state’s growing appeal to global investors to its updated policy framework. He said the recent launch of nine new policies was aimed at enhancing the state’s business ecosystem and improving the ease-of-doing business.
