Team Blitz India
Headed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the ‘Vision 2030’ programme was initiated by KCA in 2016, signifying a comprehensive economic transformation for Saudi Arabia. The ambitious objective is to enhance the nation’s appeal to its citizens, tourists, and investors.
At the forefront of this visionary plan is the Neom project, an avant-garde, technologically advanced, and ecofriendly city situated in the northwestern Tabuk administrative region. Costing an estimated £500 billion, Neom aims to be a groundbreaking testing ground for technologies that could revolutionise daily life.
The current implementation of Vision 2030 projects, including Neom and resort cities along the Red Sea coast, already surpasses £1.3 trillion, exceeding Saudi Arabia’s annual GDP. Within the programme’s timeline, ambitious targets include the construction of 660,000 homes, 289,000 hotel rooms, 6 million square metres of office space, and 5.3 million square metres of retail space.
