Rohtak has once again emerged as a trailblazer in Rotary International District 3011, as Rajesh Jain, Chairman of LPS Bossard, becomes the first donor to support the “Hope for Tomorrow” fundraiser. This initiative, led by the Eye Foundation of America (EFA), Goutami Eye Institute, and Rotary District 3011, aims to combat childhood blindness by rolling out Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) centers across the district.
Thanks to Rajesh Jain’s generous support, the first ROP center is set to be established in Rohtak, marking a historic milestone in the fight against preventable blindness. In recognition of this vital contribution, the EFA has pledged to match the donation, doubling its impact and strengthening efforts to safeguard the vision of premature infants in the district.
The EFA Board expressed its sincere appreciation to Rajesh Jain for his commitment to this transformative project. “His support underscores the power of collective action in building a brighter future for our children,” said an EFA spokesperson.
With Rohtak at the forefront of this groundbreaking initiative, the “Hope for Tomorrow” program promises to create a lasting legacy, giving countless children the gift of sight and a chance at a brighter tomorrow.
