NEW DELHI: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on April 22 between the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Canberra-based Smart Energy Council of Australia, and Hinduja Group, a globally renowned business conglomerate.
The MoU aims to establish a skill development centre in Uttar Pradesh to enhance skills and introduce new technologies in the renewable energy sector, focusing on green energy and carbon-free initiatives.
The Smart Energy Council will be the lead partner, imparting various programmes to the youth of Uttar Pradesh.
The MOU was signed by UP Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, on behalf of the UP Government; Dr SK Chadda, Senior Adviser to the Hinduja Group; John Grimes, CEO of the Smart Energy Council; and the Deputy High Commissioner of India in Canberra, along with other dignitaries
The collaboration marks a significant step towards promoting renewable energy and skill development in Uttar Pradesh. The Hinduja Group acted as facilitator to promote the Socio economic development of Uttar Pradesh.
