NEW DELHI: THE Rajasthan Utsav 2026 – held at Bikaner House, New Delhi, from March 15 to March 25 – showcased the art, culture, and cuisine of the state. Inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the 10-day event featuring handcrafted products, folk performances and traditional Rajasthani food, was a huge draw with the visitors.
Among its highlights were a crafts fair comprising authentic handmade products from Rajasthan Urban Drinking Water and Sanitation Corporation (RUDA) artisans, and hand-block printed clothing from Jaipur, leather bags and traditional textiles. Daily live folk performances, traditional music and art, including performances by artistes like Bhapang maestro Gafruddin Mewati, came in for all-round appreciation during the fest.
Authentic Rajasthani pickles, pappd and food products from the state were there as a special treat for the palate. The event served as a platform for self-help groups and artisans to showcase their work, highlighting the cultural heritage of Rajasthan and boosting the economic opportunities of the state.
