Uttarakhand: Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya inspected Jan Aushadhi Kendras in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. In his two-day visit to Uttarakhand, he also interacted with the health workers as well as the beneficiaries at these Jan Aushadhi Kendra.
He said Jan Aushadhi Kendras have been opened to provide cheap and accessible medicines. He also informed that more than 9,500 Jan Aushadhi Kendras are being operated across the country. He added that the DCGI and State Drug Controllers are regularly carrying out inspection and taking suitable action against defaulters.
He also held a review meeting of the Vibrant Village program.The objective of the program is to develop the border villages with aim to improve the quality of life of their inhabitants, besides harnessing tourism potential and developing eco-agribusinesses.
