In between stoppages have been given at Jaipur, Alwar and Gurgaon (Gurugram).

This is the sixth Vande Bharat train to be flagged off in the last two months. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that soon Vande Bharat trains will run across the country.

The Prime Minister said that from fast speed to beautiful design, Vande Bharat is being praised for its unique features. Vande Bharat is the first semi high speed train, which is made in India. It is compact and efficient, equipped with indigenous safety systems.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot welcomed PM Modi at the launch of Ajmer-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express. “I welcome and express my gratitude to PM Modi that the Vande Bharat train, which has its own importance, has now started running in Rajasthan as well. I will tell the PM and our Railway Minister Ashwini ji that the network of railways should be maximum in Rajasthan, considering the geographical location of the state, he said.
