Rajasthan has got its first Vande Bharat train. Prime Minister Narendra Modi Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off Rajasthan’s first Vande Bharat Express train from Ajmer to Delhi Cantt via video conferencing on April 12.
The regular operation of the country’s 15th Vande Bharat will be done from April 13 between Ajmer to Delhi Cantt. According to Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, from April 13, the train will leave Ajmer at 6:20 am and reach Delhi Cantt at 11:35 am. In between stoppages have been given at Jaipur, Alwar and Gurgaon (Gurugram).
This is the sixth Vande Bharat train to be flagged off in the last two months. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that soon Vande Bharat trains will run across the country.
The Prime Minister said that from fast speed to beautiful design, Vande Bharat is being praised for its unique features. Vande Bharat is the first semi high speed train, which is made in India. It is compact and efficient, equipped with indigenous safety systems.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot welcomed PM Modi at the launch of Ajmer-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express. “I welcome and express my gratitude to PM Modi that the Vande Bharat train, which has its own importance, has now started running in Rajasthan as well. I will tell the PM and our Railway Minister Ashwini ji that the network of railways should be maximum in Rajasthan, considering the geographical location of the state, he said.
