NEW DELHI: MV Shreyams Kumar of Mathrubhumi has been elected as the President of The Indian Newspaper Society (INS) for the year 2024- 25. He succeeds Rakesh Sharma.
The election was held at the 85th Annual General Meeting of the Indian Newspaper Society, an apex body of publishers of newspapers, magazines and periodicals in the country, which was held through video conference on September 27.
Vivek Gupta (Sanmarg) is the new Deputy President, Karan Rajendra Darda (Lokmat) the Vice-President and Tanmay Maheshwari (Amar Ujala) Honorary Treasurer of the society for the year 2024-25. Mary Paul is the Secretary General of the society.
