INDIANS or Person of Indian origin (PIO) are the CEOs of the world’s top leading companies. The likes of Satya Nadella (Microsoft), Sundar Pichai (Alphabet) besides a host of others showcase the strong Indian presence in the highest echelons of leading multinational brands.

The latest to join that elite bandwagon is Ajoy Krishnamurthy who took over the reigns as CEO of Cin7, the world’s leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and management solution provider. Cin7 is ranked higher than Oracle and SAP solution systems.

“Krishnamurthy will lead the expansion of the company’s product offerings and customer engagement, building on the foundation of the company growing its annual recurring revenue more than five times since its investment from Rubicon Technology Partners in October 2019,” Cin7 said in its statement.

Krishnamoorthy, who joined the company in 2022 as chief product officer, played a vital role in Cin7 getting recognition from Forbes as the top inventory management software. With over two decades of experience in software leadership, he was chief strategy officer and executive VP of Products at Acumatica, a global leader in Cloud ERP, where he led the product growth with the launch of new industry editions, new platform innovation, and acquisitions.

Krishnamoorthy also had a small stint at Microsoft in various product and strategy roles across the visual studio, partner strategy, and OEM division.

Speaking on his appointment, Krishnamoorthy said, “Our products are mission critical to our customers’ growth. By combining our customer’s passion for their products with strategic integrations, differentiated product capabilities, a thriving partner ecosystem, and our strong team, we are well-positioned to deliver on our strategy.”
