NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address party workers across the country on the 43rd Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party on April 6. The workers have been instructed to celebrate the Foundation Day with enthusiasm. The party has planned a week-long social harmony campaign from April 6 till April 14, the birth anniversary of Babasaheb Ambedkar. During this, the steps taken for the welfare of poor, exploited, deprived, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and backward classes will be highlighted.
BJP National President JP Nadda has written a letter to all state presidents and party leaders to actively participate in the Social Harmony Week. Along with issuing the letter, Nadda has also discussed the outline of the programmes to be run during this period with all the state presidents through video conferencing.
The BJP is the biggest political party in the world with maximum number of MPs, MLAs and councilors in the country. The party has government in most of the states.
