Khan Market, the ritzy shopping centre identified with Delhi’s elite, was the venue of a special event organised by Blitz India for the live broadcast of the 98th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat, on February 26. Besides multiple audio systems, a giant screen was installed in the sprawling parking slot of the market for the benefit of the audience. People from all walks of life attended the event in large number.
Among the dignitaries who graced the occasion were social reformer Bindehwar Pathak, founder of Sulabh International, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, Leader of Opposition in Delhi Legislative Assembly, and representatives of the Loomba Foundation, London. Team Blitz India, led by its Chairman & Editorin-Chief Deepak Dwivedi, was present in full strength while the Khan Market Traders Association was represented by its President Sanjiv Mehra, VicePresident Brij Khosla and managing committee member Abu Kapoor.
For over half an hour as PM Modi had his monthly interaction with the nation on diverse subjects, the audience listened in rapt attention even while enjoying the related visuals displayed on the big screen. The event concluded with an informal session over tea and refreshments.
